Aaron Woodley's Rhinoceros Eyes is a film that's received a lot of play in these parts - see Kurt's glowing review here - and it looks as though those of you outside Canada who have been left wondering if Woodley has inherited his famous uncle Cronenberg's fabulously twisted vision are finally going to get your chance to see.

The DVD hits shelves August 16th and it looks to be a good one. In addition to the feature you get a commentary track, a forty five minute doc by Woodley, and Downpour - the earlier Woodley short that got this film financed. It hasn't turned up in any retailer listings yet so I'm unsure if this is a North America wide release or if it is Canada only, but we'll keep you updated.

It appears, at least initially, that Capri Films is setting up its own little online store to handle pre-orders. It is probably a good guess that it will drift into regular retail channels around release time.
