This obituary on the Hollywood Reporter site doesn't say the half of it for millions of us who grew up watching Jack Wild work his special magic as the Artful Dodger in the great film Oliver and Jimmy on the Television show H.R. PufnStuf. Jack Wild recently started a comeback of sorts after years of alcoholism and depression and was a reasonably well known character actor when oral cancer cut his career short.
