A second trailer for Uwe Boll's Dungeon Seige flick has turned up online, this one edited down from the sprawling and appalling initial trailer that hit back in November. It revolves largely around the action sequences put together by Tony Ching - choreographer for Hero and House of Flying Daggers - and, as a result, actually looks decently competent. Until they try to sell Burt Reynolds as a "noble king". And it all goes down the chute as soon as Ray Liotta opens his mouth ... Ray, Ray, Ray ... it all looked so good for you around the time Narc came out and now with this and Revolver (which I do actually kind of like, incidentally, just not Liotta's performance in it) you're just throwing it all away ... Ah, well. There are enough positives to this one, and enough goofy energy from a veteran cast clearly aware they're making a very bad film, that it may just score on the 'so bad it's good for a giggle' front, which is more than can be said for any of Boll's previous films.
Bloodrayne, incidentally, is by far the lowest ranked current film on both Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic. The Tomato-Meter rating has actually climbed all the way up to eight from the three it held on the day of release. Yes, I checked. And on the 'Boll is dead' front it turns out that he secured complete financing for his next three films before Germany closed their tax loophole, so he's around for a while yet. I'm rambling. Watch the trailer.

OMG... that looks craptacular!
holy crap. why, god.
Ray Liotta looks like he's chanelling Riki Takeuchi ... I have to see this! BOLL STAYS!
Boll seemes to copy Ed Wood.......
For a simple farmer he sure can kick alot of ass.
I noticed that Riki Takeuchi resemblense as well.
Owe Boll is unstoppable! He's been churning out films in a rather diarrhetic fashion....in quality and quantity.
