Well, it seems like people around here have been anxiously awaiting an English-friendly DVD of Yuthlert Sippapak's Rahtree: Scent of the Night Flower since it played at the Toronto Film Festival a couple years ago. It looked like Momentum Asia was going to oblige us with a UK release a while back but it has since becomes obvious that the MA folk prefer announcing DVDs to actually releasing them. Well, fret not folks, thanks to the runaway successes of Ong Bak and Tom Yum Goong the Thai wave is hitting Hong Kong and we're getting an English subtitled DVD from them as a result, and it hits shelves this coming Thursday, January 12th! Glory!
Yea! I can finally get subs for that Unsubtitled Thai disc which has been sitting on my self for so long!!
Horray!!
