Yep, announced today. America gets broadcasts on a Friday night from sometime in March 2006 of the first of the new series of Doctor Who, starring Christopher Eccleston, thanks to the Sci-fi Channel. They've also arranged an option on Series Two, with David Tennant. Nice. That's a whole year since the broadcast was started here in the UK, and don't forget we have the boxset of the whole thing out there now, at Amazon.co.uk.
The American release on DVD is now delayed from February 2006 until July : suspect this is when the 13 week run will be up, but for all those wanting to simply put down the cash for the nice American DVD set in February and watch it in their own time, perhaps there's a compromise worth making there... more of you will get to see it now. Don't forget to tune in.

Don't forget, the Canadian DVD release (which is completely compatible with American DVD players) will still be happening in February. Those who must have it ASAP can order from Amazon.ca, etc.
whats the date again on the canadian set? no amazon.ca listing for it yet, as far as i can see...
