The screenplay for Romance of Darkness (Mizu ni sumu hana) was written by Mamiko Tokue, based on the eponymous manga series Mizu ni sumu hana by Chie Shinohara. The movie's principal cast is as follows: Aki Maeda, Terunosuke Takezai, Mizuho Takasugi, Keiko Kitagawa, Kazuyo Asari, Kôji Satô, Katsunobu Itô, and Toshiyuki Nagashima.
Romance of Darkness is scheduled to be released theatrically in Japan next year.
Aki Maeda also stars in Yûji Tajiri's Harami: shiroi kyôfu and Taikan Suga's The Last Love Song on This Little Planet (Saishû heiki kanojo).

I didn't like this movie very much =/ It was kinda funny.. Keiko still needs to improve her acting.. The ending song 'Tomodachi' is nice though! XD
