Dawn of the Gap - Spike Jonze Style

Spike Jonze is up to his usual subversive anarchy. The observative amoung you may note in the picture to the left an homage to George Romero's anti-consumerism 'Dead' film. But here Jonze has made a commercial destroying the very brand he is advertising (Well, sort of...). It's worth a look for sheer shopping carnage.

I really hope that this inspires people on mass to destroy GAP stores around the country. I really really hope and pray that this happens; and that more people start worshiping Jonze (and Gondry) proclaiming them as gods amongst men.

It's observant, mate. Observative ain't a word.

I don't know about that:

It is in the Webster-Mirriam (Unabridged Version) Dictionary and also Free Online Dictionary and also This Dictionary.

I'll admit that Observant is slightly fewer keystrokes though.

As a Gap employee I couldn't hold back my joy, that is exactly how I feel when I am told to perfect fold a pile of anything! Sheer brilliance!
