No images for this one anywhere yet but JoshuaPettigrew over at KFC has spotted the trailer for an uber-gorey Thai horror flick titled Test Subject. Very unpleasant stuff, this. What makes it rather odd is that it's coming from Five Star Productions, best known around the world as the home to Pen-Ek Ratanruang and Wisit Sasanatieng's films. So ... better production values than the large majority of Thai horror flicks thanks to the Five Star influence but ... ick ... that last scene will leave you retching. Whether that's a good thing depends entirely on you ...

Damn. That does look nasty - the titles remind me of CABIN FEVER (which isn't that good of a thing). I hope it maintains a serious edge - too many Thai films sway between tempermants to ill effect for my own tastes.
