Okay ... I've been talking about these for a little while now but after a successful recon mission to the wilds around the Ryerson Theater the Twitch Pub Nights are officially a go. Here's the deal. A couple hours prior to the Midnight Madness screenings we will be getting together for a beverage or two before heading off to the screenings. Who's we? Myself, the local Twitch writers, potentially a special guest or two, and any of you who may happen to be in town and care to join us. They'll be fairly low key affairs, just a chance to unwind and talk film before having our senses assaulted by the Madness ...
Where? Upstairs at The Imperial. North side of Dundas, just east of Yonge Street, easily accessible by transit and a very short walk to The Ryerson.
When? I'm not able to make it early for all of the Madness screenings but I'll be camped out at the Imperial for most of them. Let's say 10 pm on the 9th (Banlieu 13), 11th (Isolation), 13th (The District), 14th (Metal), 15th (The Great Yokai War), 16th (Sha Po Lang) and 17th (Hostel).
We'll come up with secret handshakes or some other way of easily identifying each other before then ...

I just may be joining you folk after all. I have two Midnight Madness scheduled, so it looks like I'll be there on the nights for SPL and Yokai War!
So, do I look for pink tight things or viking helms? Perhaps both? That would look pretty dandy.
