TV spots and trailer for Kunio Torii's MADAMADA ABUNAI DEKA 「まだまだあぶない刑事」

Two TV spots and a trailer have been added to the official website for Kunio Torii's Madamada abunai deka. As was previously reported here on Twitch, the movie stars Hiroshi Tachi as Toshiki Takayama, Kyôhei Shibata as Yûji Ôshita, Atsuko Asano as Kaoru Mayama, Tôru Nakamura as Tôru Machida, Ryûta Satô as Shûichi Mizushima, Shunsuke Kubozuka (Kuboduka Shunsuke) as Wataru Kanuma, Asami Mizukawa as Risa Yûki, Sachie Hara as Ryôko Misaki, Nana Kinomi as Yûko Matsumura, and Nenji Kobayashi as Shinzô Fukamachi.

Tôei K.K. is scheduled to release Madamada abunai deka theatrically in Japan on October 22nd.

I've always been curious about that myself. According to Wikipedia: During the Meiji Period, the non-uniformed law officials known as "Kakusode (Junsa)" came to be referred to as "Kusodeka", or just "Deka" by the criminals. I guess the name stuck, when describing plainclothes detectives.

That's interesting! Especially because it carries the feeling of "damned coppers!" or something similar from America's early 1900s; that is, if "kuso" hasn't changed much in meaning since.

So I guess the answer to my question would be ateji, as the kanji is clearly keiji...? Thanks Isao! :-)
