Russian sci-fi flick Paragraph 78 is one I've been trying to dig up information on for a little while since it's coming from the director of Glubina while he waits for the financing on that one to be freed up. Well, fresh off his news on Day Watch and The 9th Company our friend in Russia Yuric has passed along a synopsis of Paragraph along with some behind the scenes stills ... here's what Yuric has to say:
"When, in near future, a deadly virus breaks out in a secret
laboratory former special forces members are assembled once again to
fight the most unexpected and strange battle of their lives. Frankly,
this looks like a big Resident Evil rip-off and lackluster production
images don't help either. But the director is Mikhail Hleborodov, who was supposed to direct Glubina, and it is written by Ivan Ohlobystin - one of the most prominent members of the Russian art-house clique. If Ohlobystin's screenplay sucks, then, maybe Hleborodov's visuals will deliver."
For behind the scenes shots I actually though the stills looked surprisingly good, and Yuric provided a link to a Hleborodov directed music video as well so you can check out his work.
Check out the behind the scenes stills below - I've pulled them off of this Russian forum to save on load time and wading through foreign languages - while you wait for that music vid to download.
