Popular actor Choi Min-Soo had a motorbike accident last August 15, while shooting Yang Yoon-Ho's '홀리데이' ('Holiday'). Choi's recovery will take about 8 weeks, delaying the shoot and release of the film. Choi lost 10kg for the role, to be in perfect shape for the many action scenes. We wish him a speedy recovery.

As reported yesterday on Twitch, Park Gwang-Hyun's '웰컴 투 동막골' ('Welcome To Dongmakgol') became the fastest film of 2005 to sell 3 Million tickets (in 11 Days). Jang Jin's '박수칠 때 떠나라' ('The Big Scene') also fared well, selling 900,000 tickets in its first weekend of release. '친절한 금자씨' ('Sympathy For Lady Vengeance') has definitely slowed down, and it seems like it will stop at around 4 Million tickets, another success for Park Chan-Wook. The film has sold 3,404,000 tickets so far. Mixed results for '가발' ('The Wig'), only selling 320,000 tickets. Not that good, but considering negative reviews and misleading marketing, it's not that bad either.
