One of the more interesting up and coming bio-pics is Bennett Miller's film on Truman Capote. It has a prominent spot in both the New York Film Festival and the Toronto Film Festival. With a to die for cast and an interesting subject, this one looks like Oscar material without the obvious academy baiting (Cinderella Man or Memoirs of a Geisha). Any film starring Philip Seymour Hoffman and Catherine Keener immediately has my vote.
