I confess. Not being a John Le Carre fan I had no idea what The Constant Gardener was about and had been avoiding it, as a matter of general principal, based on the title alone. Whoopsie.
With the Bond films continuing to descend into endless self parody it's easy to forget just how good an intelligent spy thriller can be and, coming from the director of the searing City of God, this looks to be both very intelligent and very good. The stellar cast certainly doesn't hurt, either ...

Actually, the best place to get this trailer is via Apple's Movie Trailer page - specifically here - as I blogged a week ago. ;-) It's a great trailer, except that I think it gives too much away. (Then again, what trailer doesn't these days?)
