Chris here. I wanted my first post to be something big, but my House of Fury DVD has yet to arrive, so no review yet (if it doesn't arrive today, definitely tomorrow). However, I think that this is substantial for fans of anything and everything Besson (as I am).
Frank Martin's (Jason Statham) transporting days are over. Having relocated to Miami, Frank now works as a bodyguard/driver for a wealthy family. But when something bad happens, it's up to man on fire Frank to make things right again, and pound a lot of skulls in the process. All the while, Frank will undoubtedly look cool in his black suit and tie, whether fighting goons in ZERO GRAVITY in a falling airplane or jumping ten feet (!) in the air to dodge incoming vehicles. Oh yes, see all that and more when the film hits theatres in August.
Statham returns from the first film, along with French actor François Berléand, and directors Louis Leterrier (hot on the heels of Unleashed) and Cory Yuen (once again handling the action). Writing and producing is good ol' Luc Besson, who may eventually direct one of his own scripts again. Or maybe not.

i think the direct link to the stream should be avoided.
its always best to offer multiple options when theyre available... we arent all the same. try the link i put in the comments up there - the movie may be smallish but its embedded.
He did seem to be dressed the same way. I guess I got that vibe which subconsciously let me to post that comment...(um..er..something like that..ya)
Either way.. that trailer's pretty damn spanky.. Then again so was the last one and that movie didn't make many waves.. but man.. the trailers... so very very tasty...
Finally got to see the trailer... silly QuickTime. I have to agree with Kurt... part of me thinks it looks absolutely silly, and the other part of me is absolutely giddy to see it.
I don't think Revolver's even found a distributor yet. Besson produced it, so I'm sure Europa will handle France, but it's a great big void everywhere else ...
Refresh my memory... Frank had a cameo in Collateral? When?
He drops the case of to Mr. Cruise within the first 3 minutes of the film and then is never seen again.
Man oh man that looked bad. Horrible actors and dialogue. Think I'll skip this one.
Geez, that's pretty close-minded, Swarez.
Close-minded? Not at all. I didn't like the first one which had weak fight scenes but I loved Danny the dog which I think is one of the years best. But to go from that to THIS? Damn yo. Breaks my heart.
As a regular visitor and comment poster to twitch I will now be known as Chris 1, seeing as another Chris has stolen my identity. But I have to agree with him, the Transporter was a great action flick, not astounding by any stretch of the imagination, but very well made and high enjoyable. The fight scenes maybe didnt have the polish of Corey Yeun's previous offerings, but they suited the movie, gritty and convincing I thought, looking forward to the second one.
