It seems like we've been talking about this film forever but that's only because we have. We'd have gotten bored of it by now except, you know, it's really good.
Sony has gotten the North American trailer for Wong Kar Wai's latest opus online and it looks good. Click here to check it in Quicktime format. All other formats are hopelessly inferior, thus I shall not link to them.
North American release rolls out August 5th and - curiously - Sony is currently listing the running time as TBD. Are we getting a different cut? Has WKW been tinkering again? Interesting ... I'll try and find out ...

dudes -- 2046 is avaiable from Netflix -- it's the single disc Mei Ah version
get it while you can-- I'm sure now that there's a release date Sony will ask them to pull it
Do not get the Mei Ah disc. Not only is the image streched, but the colour palette is wrong.
Tartan has just released "2046" in the UK, with correct Aspect Ratio of 2.40:1, with a by Wong approved correct colour palette (which is green) and with a breathtaking transfer.
