There's just something inherently funny about an Asian man with an afro ... Looks like Aikawa's got some pretty good loft to his hair as well ... these shots were turned up by Logboy, who has also managed to turn up the Japanese title for the film: 東京ゾンビ
I came up with a bit more stuff when I googled that but I don't have the time to sort through it all now ...

And they're fighting zombies, yeah? Is this coming out this year? Asano with a fro, Sho Aikawa - bald - and zombie fighting will make this a guaranteed classic!
I googled that Japanese title as well and got pretty much nil, at least in terms of an official site. You may have more luck, though.
The only other asian with an afro character I can think of was in the film "Waterboys" which had some of the funniest scenes I've ever seen (including not only said asian dude with a 'fro, but with 'fro on fire screaming and running in slow motion towards a pool).
I just found out that for those lucky enough to be in NYC there is a show running at Dinter Fine Art through March 26 that includes some of "Tokyo Zombie" mangaka Yusaku Hanakuma's artwork New York Times article here. Be sure to check out the slideshow, which features some of Hanakuma's t-shirt designs (mislabeled as those of Daniel Johnston; well, some of the shirts may be Johnston's, I can't tell, but the ones in front are certainly of Afro and Hage).
That slomo burning 'fro/disaster rehearsal scene in WATERBOYS is one of my all-time favorite laugh out loud moments. It's like the comedic equivalent of The Untouchables' train station climax.
I've also been searching around on several Japanese sites, but didn't have much time and came up with nothing. For those who want to keep looking;
Asano Tadanobu: 浅野忠信
Aikawa Sho: 哀川翔
