I just popped over to the Fortissimo Films website to see if they had any new materials on Seven Swords or Invisible Waves and, what do you know, they did ...
Nothing new on Swords, but they are now listing the principal cast for Pen Ek Ratanaruang's Invisible Waves - the follow up to Last Life in the Universe. We already knew Christopher Doyle was back on board, but now it appears that Tadanobu Asano will once again be in the lead role with Gang Hye Jung starring opposite. Nice.
Have you seen Nabi? She has a fairly sizable role and does a nice job.
There's some new stuff at monkeypeaches, I don't know if it's old since this film just caught my eye but I'm EXTREMELY intriqued now. Excellent cast, good director, Christopher Doyle(!).. this cannot be bad!
and it is shooting in Phuket, a city recently in the news due to the tsunami disaster....
I have not seen Nabi, but I will try to get it once I sign up for CinFlix (or do you recommend a better alternative?).
