It's only just made it out on an unsubtitles Japanese DVD. It's only just made it to the Cinemas in America.
That's why i am excited to be able to sat that the sequel to Ghost In The Shell has been announced for a USA release date, so at least i am not upset that i am here in the UK and unable to see it right now.
The reviews may have been mixed but i want to see it for myself.
The disc is $30 rrp : is in 1.85:1 aspect ratio and ofcourse has English Subtitles. More details when i find them.

I've got a subtitled version, and normally I prefer that. But Innocence has got so much philosopical dialogue, that I'm actually looking forward to seeing it dubbed.
The visuals are great! Sometimes the contrast between the almost photo real backgrounds and the manga style is a little too much. I would've simplified the 3D a bit.
I was perhaps a bit hard on the movie when I saw it as the opening night film to the Midnight Madness program at this years TIFF. I look forward to watching it again to re-evaluated. For what it's worth, my commments are here...
None of the foreign releases will be subtitled. It's part of Dreamworks deal with Production IG.
bingo. as i suspected : there this licensing thing which will creap up on us eventually and virtually no foreign discs will have subs, well potentially.
In regards to an earlier comment... the domestic DVD release of Innocence - the one with the crappy cover art that we all seem to hate - will not have an English dub.
I hate to say this, but if there are no English subtitled discs available in other countries, and my only choice is that Dreamworks release with the horrible cover art, then I am going to eBay.
