It has just been announced that Jean-Pierre Jeunet's A Very Long Engagement - easily one of my most anticipated films this year as I'm a huge fan of the man's work - is slated to receive its North American premiere at the AFI Festival in Los Angeles in early November. Personally, I'm still a little bitter that this one didn't make it to the Toronto festival, but such is life.
