One of the better things about the festival experience - whether it be the just completed Toronto Film Festival or one of a few musical festivals that I've hit in the past - is the chance to connect with people who share your own particularly skewed view of the world. I have a few good friends now based purely on the fact that we just ran into each other so often at these sort of events that we bowed to the inevitability of it all and went and started planning ahead. Opus is one of those friends, so I was more than happy to host him at my place through the Toronto Film Fest and even happier to have him blogging about the experience here.
