Watch The First Eight Minutes Of Chick Tract Adaptation DARK DUNGEONS

Andrew Mack, Contributing Writer
Oh my. Single tear.

Prepare thy selves, for ye art about to embark on a quest fraught with moral peril and dangers! J R Salls' film adaptation of the Chick Tract Dark Dungeons will premiere today to a sold out crowd at Gen Con in Indianapolis. The film's producer, Zombie Orpheus Entertainment, has made the first eight minutes of the film available for your viewing pleasure. And I do mean pleasure.

Dark Dungeons was financed via a successful Kickstarter campaign and Salls' lottery win. All he wanted to create was a straight-as-an-arrow adaptation of one of Jack Chik's most popular tracts.

I have to tell you, I think the results are awesome! I am not talking about production quality here. I am talking about sheer entertainment value. The optimism of Debbie and Marcie on their first day of college. The warning at the end of the orientation video. That entrance of the RPGrs. The jacked up Nitro. The sultry Mistress Frost. The first eight minutes is jammed with so much goodness I can hardly wait to see the rest of it. I still think we have a new cult classic in waiting here.

I do not know who you are going to find when you watch this, Jesus or Satan, but I do think you are going to find something fun.
Around the Internet:
  • How can this not be a joke?

  • Oh wait, it is.

  • God of Joy

... it looks like I have been doing the RPG thing wrong for all these years. Can't wait to see the rest of it.
