THE GUEST UK Trailer Drops All Polite Pretenses

Peter Martin, Managing Editor
As much as I loved the first U.S. trailer for The Guest, I have to admit that the new British trailer kicks ass in a much more direct manner.

Dropping all pretensions to polite behavior, the trailer immediately sets up Dan Stevens as a nasty dude who is involved in all kinds of nasty behavior. Is it because Stevens is much more widely known in the U.K. from Downton Abbey? Possibly. But even if you've never seen the period soap opera, I think this trailer gets down and dirty in a very invigorating manner.

The Guest, directed by Adam Wingard and written by Simon Barrett, opens in U.K. cinemas on September 5. Lucky bastards! Those of us in the U.S. must wait until September 17.
Around the Internet:
  • Oilgun

    looks good, hot lead.

  • RoboticPlague

It looks like Wingards direction is vastly improving. Kind of reminds me of a more violent Knight and Day.
