Daniel Radcliffe Travels to Hell in First Trailer for HORNS

Daniel Radcliffe has (more or less) done a good job shedding his Harry Potter image by appearing in some very dark (The Woman in Black) and very funny (A Young Doctor's Notebook) projects that take a lot of narrative and genre risks. And he looks to be continuing that trend, as seen in the first teaser for Alexandre Aja's (The Hills Have Eyes, High Tension) latest film Horns.

Radcliffe plays a young man who is the main suspect in his girlfriend's murder. While protesting his innocence, he sprouts a pair of devil-like horns that cause those around him to display the most petty behaviour. Kurt Halfyard saw it at TIFF last year, and had a mixed reaction, though praised the performances. Personally, I'm always intrigued by representations of Judeo-Christian god/devil mythology, so am looking forward to it. Check out the teaser below.

You missed key bit of info: "Based on novel of same name by Joe Hill"

    Alexandra Aja doesn't disappoint.

But i do still want to see him make the Cobra Scifi.
