Full Disclosure 2014 The Directors Cut: Tony Scott

James Marsh, Asian Editor
Every month on Full Disclosure, we select a filmmaker who is or would be celebrating their birthday, and use that as an excellent excuse to throw the spotlight on them and their career. Members of Team Twitch seek out a film from the chosen director's canon that they have never seen, cross it off their list of shame, and share their thoughts on watching it for the very first time. June is dedicated to Tony Scott, a pioneer of fit-inducing visual bedlam who gifted us some of the most exciting action thrillers of the last quarter-century. He worked on numerous occasions with the likes of Denzel Washington and Tom Cruise, adapted one of Quentin Tarantino's most unashamedly entertaining screenplays and even turned Kiera Knightley into a gun-toting bounty hunter. Determined never to be overshadowed by older brother Ridley, Tony Scott left behind a significant and unmistakable body of damn entertaining work.

Peter Martin, Jaime Grijalba Gomez, Patryk Czekaj, Christopher O'Keeffe, Ernesto Zelaya Miñano, Ard Vijn, Niels Matthijs, Jim Tudor, Eric Ortiz Garcia and James Dennis contributed to this story.
