Watch The Trailer For Kim Ki-duk's ONE ON ONE

Todd Brown, Founder and Editor
Korean auteur Kim Ki-duk's latest blast of outrage - One On One - is rapidly approaching theatrical release in its homeland and what hath the creator of Pieta, 3 Iron, Bad Guy and The Isle wrought? Take a look at the trailer below for a taste.

On May 9th, a female high school student was brutally murdered. There are 7 suspects and 7 shadows that terrorize them. Who are they and which one of them is you?
Somewhat surprisingly given Kim's history, this one appears to be skipping the festival circuit entirely, so no word yet on when audiences outside of Korea may be able to see it.

Looks pretty damn scary to me - the idea that this girl has been murdered "to order" and in such a dispassionate manner. Looking forward to seeing an English-subbed trailer at some point.

Kim Ki-Duk, I want my phone back, stop shooting your films with it.

  • Ard Vijn

Thanks, that made me spill coffee.
If we had a "comment-of-the-day" section, you would have won it for today.

  • RoboticPlague

Looks too much like a made for tv film.

  • Don Drye

This teaser really makes me miss the older, more stylized, Kim Ki-duk films like "spring, summer, fall, winter…and spring" & "3-Iron".

  • James Coll

Yes, but he can probably make more films, & get them released quicker this way.

  • Noah Rubin

    Kim's name misspelled...

  • Fixed, thanks.
