The Title Of The New BATMAN V. SUPERMAN Film Is...

Andrew Mack, Contributing Writer
Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice

THR says that the tile acts as a lead-in to the launch of the Justice League film, expected (perhaps) in 2017.

Between this and all those Sad Batman memes the other week, is this a rocky start?

Talk among yourselves. Be nice. Have fun.

Batman is not a super human!!!...

he can't fly, he doesn't have super power...

    he is impostor!!!.. :D

  • Fub Frank

Hopefully it is better than Man of Steel.

  • Kjseo

I think just "Dawn of Justice" would have been a pretty cool title, although it's not as marketable to the comic-booky crowd.

  • Jake Langkowski

Or how about "Justice League: Year One"?

  • Cutie Pie

I was a bit let down by Man of Steel's genericness. I just hope Zack Snyder also brings back his go-to editor William Hoy (now that regular collaborator Larry Fong is shooting) and that we see http://bit.ly/1nfvxwa

    Die you bot-thing whatever!

I really hope WB and DC know what they're doing.

In my opinion, Batman is far too big of a superhero to just enter into someone else's sequel movie. Of course we all know his childhood origin story, but I would like to know what lead Batman to join up/fight against Superman, before it occurs. I'd like to know how did Batfleck become Batman once he reached adulthood?

So is WB taking the CW approach, where you introduce a Superhero into someone else's series, and then show his/her origins in a later movie?

Or do they know what they're doing?

I feel that if they are ALSO bringing in Wonder Woman, then just do a freaking Justice League film already, if you're going to bring 2 MAJOR superheros into the mix.

  • Julius Council

You don't need a "how did Batfleck story" The truth of the matter is, the Batman Story has been told so many times and its pretty much the same.

  • Marcel Samson

But is it really a Superman sequel? Batman gets first credit, after all. I feel it's just as much bats as suups....

  • tman418

Yeah, I think you're probably right. After all, they are also introducing Wonder Woman into the mix, with plans of a JL film immediately after this one. So maybe WB might not even give each hero its own set of solo movies. I guess the events of "Man of Steel" will be the main catalyst for each superhero's involvement.

  • Kjseo

I'm still excited for this film, even though I was a bit let down by Man of Steel's genericness. I just hope Zack Snyder also brings back his go-to editor William Hoy (now that regular collaborator Larry Fong is shooting) and that we see some--you guessed it--SLOW MOTION.

  • Tesla

I am looking forward to this movie. I loved Man Of Steel.

Well... at least I now know why Batman is clenching his wrists. Not too fond of dawns, that guy.
