Exciting Full Trailer For Live-Action RUROUNI KENSHIN Sequels Arrives!

The full trailer has been unveiled for the sequels to the successful live action adaptation of Rurouni Kenshin, one of the most popular anime and manga series ever.

Titled Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno and Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends, the new films cover the fan-favorite Kyoto arc of the manga, specifically the Great Kyoto Fire and End of a Legend storylines.

Kenshin Himura goes up against pure evil Makoto Shishio, who is attempting to overthrow the Meiji government. The fate of the country hangs in the balance as Kenshin Himura takes up the sword that he vowed to never draw again.

Satoh Takeru (Kamen Rider Den-O, Beck) reprises his role as Kenshin, while Fujiwara Tatsuya (Death Note, Battle Royale) plays Shishio Makoto.

Kyoto Inferno opens in Japan on August 1 and The Legend Ends opens on September 13.

Wonder if it's occurred to anyone yet to release the first movie in the U.S.?

Damn that sucks. Even here in Australia we got the Blu-Ray/DVD retail release back in March last year and these sequels are supposedly getting a limited theatrical run down here too. U.S. distributor's are slacking on this one.

    That would be nice.
