Gina Carano Action-Thriller IN THE BLOOD Coming On April 4

Andrew Mack, Contributing Writer
Good news for fans of former MMA fighter turned action film star Gina Carano.

If you were wondering when you would get to see the deadly beauty back on the big and small screens again, then mark April 4 on your calendars. Anchor Bay Films, in a joint distribution with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, will release the action-thriller In the Blood simultaneously in cinemas, On Demand, and on iTunes on that day.

Gina Carano stars as Ava, a trained fighter with a dark past. When her new husband (Cam Gigandet) vanishes during their Caribbean honeymoon, Ava uncovers a violent underworld of conspiracy in the middle of an island paradise. Armed with a deadly set of skills, Ava sets out to discover the truth - and to take down the men she thinks are responsible for his abduction, one by one.

The film also stars Cam Gigandet (Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2), Luis Guzmán (We're the Millers), Amaury Nolasco (TV's Prison Break), Ismael Cruz Cordoba (TV's The Good Wife), Treat Williams (TV's Chicago Fire), Stephen Lang (Avatar), and Danny Trejo (Machete).

I have already seen the film and will have a review up in due time.

You uh, going to give us a trailer to watch?

  • Spyro

Sounds awful but I'll probably watch it.

    exactly!

well, haywire was really good with the only criticism being her acting was wooden. she did all her action scenes and was very believable in those thanks to her mma background. it was directed by Soderbergh and the rest of the cast were competent actors. i really doubt this one with be as good.

i heard she was over-dubbed in haywire... anyway she would've been my first choice to play wonder-woman... but hey... who cares right... i'm gonna watch this movie because she kicks butt.

  • Kiara Ashanti

tell me about it! I would have been fine with the height over the little stick they chose.
