Danny Trejo And Luke Goss Start Shooting THE NIGHT CREW

Andrew Mack, Contributing Writer
Bounty hunters and cartel killers have invaded Palm Springs, as production begins on The Night Crew, just one of the many projects that Danny Trejo is slated to star in this year. Trejo is working again with director Christian Sesma; they worked together on Shoot The Hero. For that matter so are some of the film's other stars, Luke Goss and Bokeem Woodbine. Other regulars include Jason Mewes and Paul Sloan. Canadian actress Chasty Bellesteros plays the mysterious Chinese woman mentioned below and Brazilian native Luciana Faulhaber adds some spice to the bounty hunter team.

Yet, I am puzzled because evidence suggests (The Night Crew Facebook page) that filming has been going on since early December, and Sesma is already filming his next feature, AWOL, but who am I to argue with a press release?

"We are excited to be shooting THE NIGHT CREW in the wild palm spring desert, where we've been welcomed with open arms despite our blazing pyrotechnics, machine gun fire and sinister characters running amok with gas masks and machetes," says (producer) Noto.

THE NIGHT CREW centers on a group of hard up bounty hunters who must survive the night in a desert motel against a horde of savage cartel killers. They soon realize that their fugitive, a mysterious Chinese woman, is much more than she lets on.

While they are/were filming they are/were also cutting a trailer for the pic and will debut footage at the Film Market during the Berlin Film Festival.
