Watch The Trailer For James Lee's Twice-Blocked CLAYPOT CURRY KILLERS

Todd Brown, Founder and Editor
It was all the way back in March of 2011 that we last heard from James Lee's Malaysian horror film Claypot Curry Killers, the occasion at the time being the film's second refusal for release by the Malaysian censorship board due to the film's extreme content.

It seems that Lee's status as one of Malaysia's best known and most respected arthouse directors on the festival circuit wasn't going to help him with this one, the story of a family whose small restaurant was stocked with meat by questionable means, and the road to getting it to audiences has been a long one. But now, finally, it is coming, though if I'm reading this trailer correctly it's coming via a release on cable television rather than on theater screens.
