No Elephant, Lots Of Violence In Second Teaser For Tony Jaa's TOM YUM GOONG 2

Todd Brown, Founder and Editor
What's not in the new teaser for Tony Jaa star vehicle Tom Yum Goong 2: His elephant. Which, yes, has gone missing again.

What is in the trailer for Tom Yum Goong 2: A lot of punching and kicking, some high flying stunts, The RZA, Jeeja Yanin and Marrese Crump looking rather impressive. And also one heavily CGI assisted stunt that will leave the old school purists tearing out their hair.

That final shot aside, this latest trailer looks far more impressive than the first effort which already wasn't half bad. Take a look below.

This looks crap I'm sorry! 3D?!? Really? Ong Bak was awesome! But after seeing Jaa's recent showreels (budget camcorder in the park) his skills seem a lil lame. Same moves.. same stunts.. He won't be around for long..It's a shame.. I had high hopes for him! But who knows... he might do a Donnie Yen and become more popular later on in his career.

im ready right now for this one. i hope they add another long fight scene like the one in that mall in the first one. also looks like we may get a one on one fight too. *flexing*

why is everyone using prometheus trailer music?

  • That One Guy

Is it just me or does the slow-motion here seem inconsistent. You got some low fps shots (when Tony Jaa getting beaten/tortured) , and then you got the high-fps shots (when Tony Jaa kicking towards the camera or going through roofs).
In the end, it kinda makes me wished they stuck to just real-time, at least for the fight scenes.

  • Horrible.... and I LOVE the first one.

    Now that looks waaay better

Yea!! thats what i'm talking about, the man has been giving a second chance and by the looks of it he is taking it with both hands, legs and feet... ^^

Did I just see RZA in this?

  • You did, indeed.

  • Hiroaki Johnson

Cool, I had no idea. I'd imagine it'd be a hell of a lot of fun for him.

  • They added him relatively late in the shoot. Not sure how much of the film he's actually in ...
