Dark Bridges Unveils First Two Titles: BUSHIDO MAN and RESOLUTION Lead The Way!

Andrew Mack, Contributing Writer
The Dark Bridges Film Festival out in Saskatoon, SK, unveiled the first two titles of their program yesterday. The programmers, of which I am one, are working hard to bring another strong lineup to this year's festival running September 26th through 29th.

Meta-horror Resolution will be making one of its final festival appearances before its release date later in October. A darling of the festival circuit since its bow at Tribeca the festival is very pleased to bring this horror gem to Roughrider Nation. And I immediately pushed for Bushido Man to be included in this years's lineup once I saw it at Fantasia the other week. One of the buzz titles from the festival, I expect we'll be seeing a lot of this film on the rest of the Canadian festival circuit in the months to come!

The mandate of Dark Bridges is to bring in the best titles from the festival circuit each year. The festival is in its fourth year and strives to bring the genre film festival experience to one of Canada's smaller market cities. Otherwise, the films selected each year stand little chance of ever making it to the multiplexes in the Prairie city.
