Twitchvision: Talking THE PURGE, THE EAST and BEFORE MIDNIGHT

Jason Gorber, Featured Critic
Another not so great week for mainstream releases, with The Purge and The East proving to be little more than misguided high-concept failures.

With Linklater's Before Midnight opening wider, and linking to Ethan Hawke's other release, I felt it deserved its own full shout-out, and took time to highlight this gem of a film, the third part of a remarkable cinematic project.

Well, the Purge looks entertaining, hardly groundbreaking.

The East, I kinda liked Another Earth(2011), so I might see this one.

Yeah, I want to see this one, but you don´like Ethan Hawke..?

Always felt he´s done a good job......his drugaddicted, nervy cop in Assault on Precinct 13(2005), the sarge he played in A Midnight Clear (1992), and of course Explorers (1985) etc.....good work all around.

Great job as always Mr Gorber, hoping you and Sott get a bigger show, maybe a movie special, a whole hour with great stuff.

But Scott needs to do more jokes....hahahhahahhahah.....it´s been a while.
