Character Posters for THE WORLD'S END Reveal Designated Pubs

Having lived in North London for nearly three years, I feel as though I've gotten to know the world of Edgar Wright a little better (also it helps to live near the house that served as exterior to Spaced and the corner shop from Shaun of the Dead). So I, like many, am pretty excited about the final installment in the Wright/Pegg/Frost Cornetto trilogy, The World's End.

Posters have been released today of the six main characters, each with a name of one of the pubs on the crawl that the crew attempts during the apocalypse. Not surprisingly, the pub name is also a reference to the character, gleamed somewhat from the trailers. So Pegg's bad boy Gary is 'The Famous Cock', Rosamund Pike is 'The Intrepid Fox', Frost is 'The King's Arms', etc. It's nice to see some of the actors, such as Pegg, Frost and Martin Freeman (as an estate agent) playing somewhat against type.

The film will be released in the UK on July 19th, and in the USA on August 23rd.
