Jessica Chastain To Join Hathaway And McConaughey In Nolan's INTERSTELLER?

Andrew Mack, Contributing Writer
The Zero Dark Thirty star is reportedly in talks to take the final lead spot in Christopher Nolan's next film Interstellar alongside Anne Hathaway and Matthew McConaughey. The Oscar nominated actress has been in high demand and has a number of projects on the go.

I hope she is ready for some heady, heavy like gravity, sci-fi as Nolan's film should be about a group of explorers traveling through worm holes. I say should be because Christopher has never been one to willingly share details about any of his projects. But as you recall when we first got wind of this project we knew that his brother Jonathan's script is based on a treatment about traveling through wormholes by astrophysicist Kip Thorne. And those kind of guys don't scrimp on the details.

I disagree. Great actress and also quite good looking!

no real screen presence or charisma. i just completely forgot about her in the zero dark thirty. either way not likeable or even enjoyable at all to see her on screen.

  • bob

very overrated actress. not even beautiful or attractive .

I haven't seen her act, but I wonder what her looks have to do with her ability to act, or the way we rate her as an actress?

At the risk of getting in trouble, Ms. Chastain's etherial looks were used to great effect in Tree of Life... I'm not sure how much her acting ability was used over her body aesthetic by Malick's camera. This is not a knock against her or the director, merely that her looks and body were important to the time of mood/vibe/aesthetic that that film was going for when it came to Sean Penn's characters memories of his young mother.
