Exclusive Clip From Creeptastic Horror Flick GUT, Out On DVD May 28

J Hurtado, Contributing Writer
Elias Ganster's super tense and creepy indie horror film, Gut, comes to DVD on May 28. To help you prepare for the intense unease you're destined to feel, we've been given an exclusive clip of the film. Here's a synopsis:
Something is missing in Tom's life. Every day he goes through the motions, becoming increasingly detached from those around him. His best friend Dan thinks he has the solution, a mysterious video he's got to see to believe. What Dan shows him leaves Tom unsettled, flooding his mind with disturbing images and desires, and binding the two friends together with its ugly secret. As he tries desperately to forget what he saw, Tom's mounting feelings of guilt and disillusionment quickly give way to paranoia and fear. One video soon follows another and another, blurring the line between reality and voyeuristic fascination, and threatening to dismantle everything around them.
Gut is now available on numerous VOD platforms, such as XBOX Live, Vudu, Amazon VOD, PSN, YouTube, and more. However, if you want the special features, you'll have to wait for DVD in a few weeks. Here are those specs:

Saw this courtesy of the director about a year ago. A unsettling indie slowburn that transcended its modest budget and delivered a potent finish that both disturbs and lingers. The film cleverly implicates the viewer in the same aberrant fascination that consumes the principals. Glad to see it found a distributor and may now reach a wider audience. Kudos to J Hurtado and Twitch for promoting worthwhile indie efforts such as this.
