Spectacular New MAN OF STEEL Trailer Drops

Though many have been skeptical about the Zack Snyder Superman reboot, a spectacular new trailer should help convert many skeptics, of which I have been one since the project was announced.

The feel is epic and the visuals are tantalizing but most importantly it looks like Snyder and producer Christopher Nolan are putting the weight of the film on its story and its characters, performed by a stellar cast which includes Russell Crowe, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Amy Adam and Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel. We get a good look at everyone in action although I still want to see more of Shannon, on board as the foul-tempered villain General Zod.

Man of Steel promises to be very stirring big screen entertainment. Roll on June 14th!

Hmm..did everyone see the same trailer I did? Looks like they just copied the original Superman movie but added some new fakey flying effects (which is what the last Superman reboot tried to do and failed because of it)..and what's that? A giant octopus??

Bryan singer's take on Superman was not a reboot. It was a psuedo-sequel to the Donner flicks. Also, it did not fail because of 'fakey flying effects', but instead it was a less than stellar experience for the general audience of whom were ezpecting supes to unleash and kick ass. The plot itself also riled up the hardcore superman fanboys with the introduction of superman having a son and other little doo dads that irked geeks the wrong way.

Also, I'm not exactly sure how retelling the tale of Clark from childhood (copying as you like to call it..) is a bad thing. After all this is a reboot, and in essence shouldnt the origins of the character at his early stages garner approval?

    Come on bro.

The trailer really does look awesome. But let's not forget...

...so did the trailer to Sucker Punch!

I view that flick as nothing but an obscurity in Snyder's filmography. If Sucker Punch! was a graphic novel, it would have been a hit; the content just did not pan out very well on film.

Watchmen and 300 proves that he's been more than capable of presenting to audiences an enthralling experience. I expect nothing less from Man of Steel.
