...you'd think so.

The nerdiest SW thing I ever did was travel to Celebration III (in part for a Lego building contest, but that's a long story...). Leia's were littered all over the place, it was a bit unnerving. This random clip gives an idea (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v... - they'd wander seeking attention, women almost attractive enough to pull it off and leave the hardcore geeks drooling, but not quite. It's a strange subculture, the convention, a scene I'm sure well trafficked by many that read this site.

The strange desperation and exhibitionism did wonders for me to burst any illusions about seeing metal bikinis in real life. *shudder*

Oh boy....I thought it was just fat nerds with boners running around, drooling over old posters of Leia.....but this.....well, I always been an Silent Running (1972) fan so maybe I should change my mind and go to one of these SW things.
