Keep your eyes open for Jeymes Samuels' half hour western short They Die By Dawn. Because not only has Samuels assembled a stellar cast - Michael K Williams, Isaiah Washington, Nate Parker, Jesse Williams, Erykah Badu, Rosario Dawson, Giancarlo Esposito - but he clearly knows what to do with them. Production design and performances look uniformly excellent and I can't wait to see the whole thing. Check the trailer below.

To say this is a horrible cast in a cheesy western after only seeing the trailer is seriously harsh.
Michael K. Williams is a natural for the role is a bad ass gunfighter, even though he plays it the same as Omar from the Wire and Chalky White from Boardwalk Empire which is not a bad thing in my opinion, and I've always liked Rosario Dawson and I'm curious about Erika Badu as an actress, a short is a good place for her to test herself.
As far everyone looking to polished, well the wardrobe is of the right period and they look sufficiently dusty.
I have to say I'm more interested in seeing They Die by Dawn than Django Unchained.

Fantastic? All I see is a group of horribly cast actors (most of which are B class) in a really cheesy looking western. Seriously whoever was in charge of wardrobe failed miserably, there is nothing worse than a western where everyone looks polished. Terrible looking in my opinion.
