Scream Factory Is Ready To Unleash THEY LIVE On Blu-ray!

John Carpenter's They Live is probably my favorite of his post-Escape From New York, late '80s- early '90s filmography. A very obvious anti-Reagan diatribe, not unlike Craven's The People Under the Stairs, They Live manages to be preachy and pulse-pounding fun all at the same time. No one does this kind of pulpy fun like Carpenter, and even though it gets less recognition, I'd put They Live up against Big Trouble in Little China any day of the week. The leading duo of WWF legend "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and professional tough-guy Keith David (The Thing), tear up the screen in this fantastic film.
Shout! Factory's new horror sub-label Scream Factory is already making a big splash with their upcoming releases of Halloween II and III (both are great, reviews are forthcoming), and others, but this is one I've been waiting for for a long time. It sure as hell doesn't hurt that they commissioned kick-ass exploitation artist extraordinaire Tom "The Dude Designs" Hodge to create a cover worthy of such an excellent piece of work. Scream Factory's They Live is due on store shelves on November 6th with a boatload of extras (listed below). Here's what they have to say about it
