HANSEL AND GRETEL: WITCH HUNTERS Trailer Leaves A Trail Of Corpses

Todd Brown, Founder and Editor
Hansel and Gretel may have become famous for living a trail of bread crumbs through the forest but that was when they were young. They're all grown up now and the trail they're leaving is bodies. Witch bodies.

Hitting screens in early 2013, Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters is the English language debut of Dead Snow director Tommy Wirkola, a picture that stars Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton as the fairy tale characters, now all grown up and heavily armed.

Though the release is still a ways off a Spanish subtitled trailer for the film has arrived online and it's looking like fun stuff, essentially a more action oriented version of Terry Gilliam's The Brothers Grimm. Check the trailer below.

    what a shit

Meh. I still don't get the appeal of Jeremy Renner. Peter Stormare and Famke Jannssen, on the other hand, promise to be fun.

  • Cuttermaran

Don't see anything horrible here. Looks like everything else Hollywood is producing nowadays.

  • Zetobelt

Come on! Hollywood should be stopped from ruining folk tales like this.

Saturday afternoon on cable television in the background while doing something else - that's how to enjoy this.

  • Kurt Halfyard

    This. Looks. Horrible.
