Telluride 2012 Preview: A Handful Of The Year's Most Exciting Films and A New Twitch Teammate

Peter Martin, Managing Editor

Earlier today, a good portion of the lineup for the 39th edition of the Telluride Film Festival, which begins tomorrow, was announced. In conjunction with that, we are pleased to make our own announcement: Film critic Eric D. Snider will be joining the Twitch team.

In Eric's own words, he is "a freelance writer, critic, columnist, humorist, bon vivant, raconteur and man-about-town. He was raised in Southern California, lived in Utah for 10 years, and now resides in beautiful Portland, Ore. He is a prolific film critic, if not a discerning or reliable one, reviewing some 300 movies a year, and he regularly covers the Sundance, South By Southwest, Tribeca, Portland, and Fantastic Fest film festivals. His "Snide Remarks" humor column is published weekly at EricDSnider.com. Eric's material appears regularly in publications including City Weekly, Film.com, and Movies.com."

And now add Twitch to that list. Eric will be on the ground in Telluride, so look for his reviews this weekend. But what, pray tell, might he review? Here's a portion of the press release from Telluride:
