Vincenzo Natali's NEUROMANCER Offers Parts To Mark Wahlberg And Liam Neeson

If you want tall, intense and bad-ass, the recent chapter of Liam Neeson's career suggests that he is your man.  This is exactly what the Vincenzo Natali directed and Lorenzo di Bonaventura produced adaptation of William Gibson's seminal cyberpunk novel, Neuromancer, is looking for to play Armitage, the shadowy ex-military man who hires a hacker to jack into the worlds first sentient Artificial Intelligent security system.  It appears that Mark Wahlberg has been also been offered the role of "console cowboy" Henry Case.

Currently, there is no word on who will be considered to play Molly Millions. (A word of advice to casting agents:  consider going exotic and international with the either the talented Carolina Bang or Synnøve Macody Lund.)

According to Movie Hole, there is no firm start date for shooting yet but it is believed the film will get underway once director Nalati completes work on his latest flick, Haunter, with a tentative release somewhere around 2014.
