Michael Shanks Goes Full-Cronenberg In Roadgeek Video!

Not content with writing, directing, editing, producing and acting in all his online web videos, as well as doing all the VFX, Melbourne filmmaker Michael Shanks decided he start a band called Roadgeek, in which he plays all the instruments, Dave Grohl style.

Below is the first music video for Roadgeek, which features one insane idea done brilliantly.

Just when you think the concept has been fully explored, yeah, it goes there... All the way. The video recently beat out Gotye and lots of others to win SoundKILDA, the most prestigious music video competition in Australia. Oh and the song is awesome too.

There's a little bit of NSFW content here, but then again, half of Twitch's mastheads are NSFW. So get into it!

Nope. Until you wrote the above, this was the only Michael Shanks I knew of. And and of course there's the gloriously drug-addled Mike Schank in American Movie. These three should get together.

Yeah, the Stargate one was the only one I had ever heard of, and Google agreed when I tried finding your guy. Thankfully the music video its to his account.

In other news, holy crap. People like him, even more so when they're younger, when they're this talented make me wonder why I even bother still existing.
