Does This Look Like JACK REACHER To You?

The casting of Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher in Christopher McQuarrie's adaptation of Lee Child's One Shot - the film is now known simply as Jack Reacher - was met with, shall we say, a vociferous response. Reacher, as fans know, is a big man. Cruise, not so much. But with production under way Empire have gotten the first still featuring Cruise in character - find a larger version here - so that people can form a more informed opinion. So what say you? Reacher, yay or nay?

Nope it don't look like Jack Reacher . I've read about 5 of the books and enjoyed them,Jack Reacher is a giant ex MP 6 foot 5 with a 50 inch chest who travels America with his toothbrush and the clothes on his back Cruise is the right age and that's it .

I'd say that the production is more than underway since Cruise is here in Iceland filming Oblivion and enraging the local farmers.

Christopher McQuarrie knows how to amke action, Mr Brown, but.....this is probably a Bourne clone.....but I will see it someday.
