THE DEAD Co-Director Howard Ford Goes Solo (Mostly) With INDELIBLE

Todd Brown, Founder and Editor
UK director Howard Ford made a splash on the international horror scene a couple years back as co-director of the African set zombie film The Dead, a film he helmed in concert with his brother Jon. After a successful festival run the film received a solid release from Anchor Bay in the USA, Canada and UK and now the Ford's are moving on to what's next. And for Howard that means supernatural thriller Indelible.

Ford is keeping mum on plot details at this point but he tells Deadline "Indelible will not be just any supernatural thriller in the way some think a film like this will play out. When they get to the end of this movie, audiences will not only have felt tension and fear, but I want it to drive thoughts in a way that will hit hard in the heard and stay there long after the credits roll."

With a shoot scheduled to begin in September, Ford will be helming this one solo but he told me in Cannes that brother Jon won't be far away. Ford's sibling will be handling cinematography this time out. Armory Films and Mugshot Films produce.
