I has 3 pair of passes (each one good for 2) to giveaway for this ultra-cool event. Sci-Fi Spectacular is 14 hours of genre madness featuring all manner of retro, shorts, and debut films. Been there many a time and never have less than a blast. An awesome community of people have built up around this and the Massacre here in Chi-Town and it's getting to the point where mostly I attend just to see folks, watching only one or at most two of the flicks being offered.

This incarnation promises a dynamite lineup. Ticket gets you

A screening of the eighties clasic Night of the Comet with star Kelli Maroney in person. She'll do a Q and A and more than likely hang around for autographs. Maroney was also in Chopping Mall, Fast Times At Ridgemont High, and Not of this Earth

THE MIDWEST PREMIERE of THE THEATRE BIZARRE This is, to my mind, the most exciting thing at the event this year. I love horror anthology as a format and this is supposed to contain a couple of doozies in it.

The following great lineup of other films

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (The Classic Corman Original!)

THE LAST STARFIGHTER (80's Awesomeness!)

12 MONKEYS (Terry Gilliam's Modern Masterpiece!)

ATTACK THE BLOCK (Monster Mayhem!)

Plus the following Short films & Trailers:

Under The Table - Short film by Darren Callahan

Devil In My Ride - Trailer by Gary Michael Schultz

Blast of Doom - Kurt Long

Henry's Crazy Dream - Danny Delpurgatorio

Insane From Infinity! - Gary Schultz

Plus: Vendor Tables, Prizes, Surprises and a live charity

auction for Vital Bridges !!!

As always the devil is in the details.
