The producers of ROBOGEISHA invite you to the KILLER MOTEL

James Marsh, Asian Editor
After attempting to deliver a Japanese film that looked to capture the Western perspective of Japanese culture with Noboru Iguchi's Robogeisha, producer Akira Yamaguchi and T.O. Entertainment have just announced their latest project: erotic horror flick Killer Motel, that hopes to put a Japanese spin on the decidedly Western slasher genre.

Directed by Kazuya Ogawa, whose first film PInk Subaru won the Cinegar and Special Jury Awards at the 2011 Yubari International Film Festival, Killer Motel will star a host of gorgeous young actresses including Emi Ito, Akari Hoshino, Ren Ayase and Yuki Maeda, who we can expect to see drenched in blood, stripped to their smalls and horrifically butchered for our entertainment. The film's producer Yamaguchi touts the film as an "action-packed horror with an erotic twist and over-the-top splatter effects." Killer Motel is slated to begin filming later this month for a planned summer release in Japan.

Here's the synopsis (with possible spoilers):

There is a Japanese style inn located in an out-of-the-way area near Mount Fuji. No one knows if it's in business or not, but the inn is owned by two people: the expressionless host, and his bewitching daughter.
The host lures six patrons to stay at his inn for one night. All the guests feel the inn has an odd feel to it, but none of them pays attention to it in particular.
In reality, the host and his daughter have a hidden agenda. They are hunting in order to feed the host's son: a huge living zombie hidden away in a locked room, whom these cruel hunters dote on as if he were still part of the family.
A twisted tale illustrating conflicts of consciousness, cold-blooded insanity, and the depths one will sink to for the love of one's family is about to begin...
