Scorsese And DiCaprio Will Tackle THE WOLF OF WALL STREET
Martin Scorsese has been circling a number of projects over the past few months but he's locked and loaded and ready to go. Scorsese will team up with actor Leonardo DiCaprio for a fifth time to bring Jordan Belfort's memoir The Wolf Of Wall Street to the big screen, with production scheduled to start in August.
Based on the real life story of a stock broker convicted of money laundering and securities fraud the picture sounds like an updating of Oliver Stone's Wall Street fused with a touch of Less Than Zero with the kicker being that it's a true story.
The film is being backed by recent indie startup Red Granite Pictures.
